In an email from David Mooney on 21Nov17, he tells the story of James Johnson carrying a tin around on payday to pay the employees in cash which was a practice in those days. Also in the pay box was snub nose .38 as he traveled from the main office to the various mines. A picture of the tin box is on the web page.
